Ribeira Sacra in   Galicia,   the   lush   area   in   the northwest  of  Spain

that  receives  the most rain, there  is  a  legendary,  magical,  mystical 

land called Ribeira Sacra (the sacred  fertile  plain).  This  is  a  land of 

extraordinary beauty  and  strong contrasts, with   deep river   valleys,

where  the  mineral-rich,  loamy earth  is  warmed  by  a  sunny

Mediterranean climate.

This provides a unique setting for  growing  grapes  with  their  own
